When theinternet dies,your AI shouldn't.

Choose your PortableMind USB
PortableMind ships as OS-specific kits so you can match the drive to the computer you trust most. Every stick is preloaded with the offline AI stack, diagnostics, and launchers that make PortableMind run right away when the grid is out.
Secure checkout via Stripe for each OS-specific build. Taxes and shipping calculated at checkout.
No cloud dependency
Cloud AI disappears when the signal does. PortableMind runs on the machine in front of you, not a datacenter you can’t reach.
Survival-first tuning
Prompts and presets focused on planning, improvising, and making decisions when power, comms, and time are limited.
TWO EDITIONS, TWO PLATFORMS
PortableMind ships as separate USBs for Windows 10/11 and for macOS. Pick the edition that matches your laptop, keep it in your go-bag, and you’ll have the same offline AI stack wherever you end up.
Cloud vs offline
The same question. Two very different nights.
On the left: a cloud AI app stuck on “reconnecting”. On the right: PortableMind answering locally on your own hardware, even when the signal is gone.

See all reviews“This is a no-brainer for blackout and grid-down planning. No accounts, no always-online requirement, just plug it in and it works. I’ll be grabbing the Survival Terminal when that drops.”
“Being able to flip into more uncensored models for deep research is huge. The launcher is simple enough that I’m comfortable handing this to non-technical friends too.”

Common questions
- Does it work offline?
Yes. The AI runs locally on your Windows 10/11 or macOS machine. No account, no cloud API key. You can stay offline; internet is only needed if you choose to download updates later.
- What do I need to run it?
A reasonably modern Windows 10/11 PC or Mac with at least 8 GB RAM and a USB port (USB-C with an adapter is fine).
- Do I need a subscription or API key?
- No. You pay once for the PortableMind USB. The models run on your hardware with no recurring fees and no cloud API keys.
- Can I update the models later?
- You can optionally apply update packs yourself. The core tools keep working even if you never update again.
